Our targeted Christmas campaigns extended to over 6 counties and gathered 143,743 impressions on Facebook, with a quick ‘town centre showcase video’ attracting over 11.5k views. Felixstowe BID also commissioned The Suffolk Coast to further extend our reach through their channels. We know from the new wifi technology in Felixstowe and anecdotally (we like to talk to people) that we had many new visitors to our town over the last 3 months and our social media programme will continue to build on this to promote our town centre and seafront. We’re growing a loyal Instagram following, as we are really quite photogenic as a town and subsequently are being tagged by numerous local and national photographers who are literally ‘snapping us up’.
